In loving memory of Charlotte, wife of James Driver, of Halifax, who died 27th Jany 1873, aged 28 years.
Also of John William, their son, who died 29th Decr 1867, aged 18 months.
Also of the above named James Driver, who died 6th May 1899, aged 58 years.
Also of James, son of the above James and Margaret Ann Driver, who died from wounds received in France, Dec. 16th 1917, aged 28 years.
Also of the above named Margaret Ann Driver, who died Feb. 20th 1937, aged 86 years.

James Diriver was the youngest son of James and Margaret Ann Driver. He was employed as a slaughterer in the Borough Market before joining the forces where he served as a Gunner in the 125th Heavy Bty. Royal Garrison Artillery.
From a report in the Halifax Courier, dated December 29th,1917, it seems that James was hit on the back by a bomb from an enemy aeroplane and died of wounds at the Casualty Clearance Station on 16th December 1917, aged 28.
He was buried at Mendinghem Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, grave reference VI.BB.17. (CWGC)
